Twirling the wand between her fingers Pansy took to examining the item, while keeping a wary eye on the Ravenclaw. The girl wasn’t important now seeing as she wasn’t armed - not that she was any more important when she did have her wand in her possession. Bending the wand slightly, Pansy toyed with the idea of snapping this girl’s wand. Deciding that facing Professor Snape and other school officials today wasn’t her cup of tea, she finished her examination of the wand and held it in her hand.
“I think I’ll hold onto it for a little while longer, after all, she might loose it or drop it if I don’t hold onto it. After all, aren’t Prefects supposed to help out those in need?” Pansy sent a sneer towards Justin. Did he honestly she would be intimidated or even slightly afraid and would therefore give her the wand back? If so, he was even stupider than she he looked, which was quite an accomplishment. There was very little that unnerved Pansy, at least, very little she showed on the outside. She was a master at covering up her feelings and not letting people see the real her. No one, not even Draco, knew the true her.
Pansy’s eyes narrowed slightly when Snape’s name was brought up. He was one of the few people that she would willingly listen to, and even if she hated to admit it, Snape unnerved her at times. Hiding her true emotions behind a mask, Pansy’s lips curved into a cruel smirk. “Nope, but then again, Professor Snape doesn’t like to be bothered except if it is really important. As long as I stay out of trouble,” Pansy shrugged her shoulders, “he doesn’t really care what I do.” That in itself was one of the best things about being in the Slytherin house. As long as you didn’t get caught, the Head of House didn’t care. Considering that she was so good at getting out of trouble herself, Pansy didn’t have to worry much about what Professor Snape thought of anything.
When the girl turned to her bird, Pansy’s eyes narrowed, much like that of a big cat such as a lion or jaguar. The bird flew away, and she sent a scalding look the girl’s way. What was she planning? Or was she just so afraid of her bird being transformed into a toad? Cursing at herself, Pansy wished she had changed the bird when she had had the chance. For some reason, she felt that things were about to get a whole lot more complicated.
