“No! I will not wear it!” Tristian couldn’t help but sigh as his youngest brother refuse to co-operate with him, especially on today of all days. You see Tristan planned upon proposing to his current girlfriend Pandora Summers. He loved Pan, more than he had loved any of his previous girlfriends and so he had decided to propose to her tonight while his parents were out of town for the week. “Please wear them Elijah, this is really important to me!” Elijah had a rather defeated look on his face as the boy reached for the clothes that Tristan had begged him to wear and in a motion of thanks he ruffled his youngest brother’s hair with his hand. He then left the room so his brother could get changed in private. Just as he left his little brother’s room he heard the door bell chime. His mind began to race. Was it Pan? Or was it his parents home early from their trip due to some sort of worry about their youngest son Elijah? His mind then flickered to the small velvet box which contained the ring that he was going to pledge his love for her with, and which was currently sitting on the top of his dresser. He heard the person at the door ring the bell a second time, which was soon followed by Elijah’s door opening up behind him. “Hey Elijah, on my dresser is a small black velvet box. Can you do me a favour and put that in my sock drawer?” He asked his brother softly so that the person on the other side of the door couldn’t hear him. After all, there was no point in risking the surprise he had in store for Pan. He made his way to the door and checked to see if there was any dirt marks or something on his black dress pants and his white collared shirt before opening the door. He hadn’t told Pan that she needed to dress up because if she did, then well, she would out class him. Which usually wasn’t good when a man was going to propose. (OOC: Elijah is five years old and is dressed in beige slacks and a black collard shirt)

Pan wasn't quite sure why Tristan had invited her over to his home. She guessed he just wanted them to have a nice night in as he hadn't told her to dress up or anything. So once she got home from work she changed out of her healers robes and into a silk feel purple top and a pair of plain black trouser along with a pair of black heels to match. She sat on the end of her bed and began to wonder what Tristan had in store for her. Was cooking her a romantic candle lit dinner, or had he rented one of her favourite movies, or even taking her out on a starlit broom ride. The possibilities where endless. But she knew whatever Tristan had in mind she would love as she knew that he wasn't one of those guys who just invited their girlfriend around to do something he kew she didn't like.
So looking at her watch it was almost time for he to arrive at Tristan's. So picking her wand up off the side table she placed it into her bag before checking her reflection in the mirror. Happy with it she went downstairs and feed her cat before disappearing into thin air, or a wizards called it apperated. Luckily Tristan's front door was quite well shelter enough for nobody to notice her suddenly appear on the Grant's doorstep. Straightening her hair out she took in a deep breath as apperating wasn't the most pleasant experience. Then she pushed the door bell and waited for somebody to answer the door. She waited a minute and when nobody answered the door she pushed the bell a second time. This time somebody came to the door and opened it and that somebody was Tristan. "Somebody's looking smart aren't we" She said before leaning closer to him and giving him a kiss.

He smiled as soon as he laid eyes on what he hoped would be his fiancé. He somehow knew that she’d out class him even though he had told her not to dress up. But then again it was probably good that she looked so memorable. After all today was meant to be a day that neither of them would forget should she say yes. “Somebody’s looking smart aren’t we?”His smile grew as she leaned in and kissed him. When the kiss broke he went and kissed her back this time the thing that broke their kiss was his little brother who seemed to have seen them kissing and let out the usual response a five year old would let out when they saw any sort of public display of affection between two people. “Gross! Will you two stop it!?” Tristan smiled and kissed Pan on her cheek before pulling away and folding his hand in hers. She was his life and he hoped that she knew that, after all he probably wouldn’t be in the order if he hadn’t dated her. “Hey Elijah, do you want to set the table while I dish up dinner?” He heard his little brother release a huge sigh before going to set the table. When his little brother was out of hearing range he turned back to the woman he loved. “Sorry about Elijah, Pan. My parents are out of the country for a week and so I have to look after him. Think you can put up with him till after dinner? You look beautiful by the way.” He knew that Pan would be able to last till Elijah’s bedtime, but he thought it would be polite to ask because otherwise he could make up some excuse to get his brother out of the room long enough for him to get down on a knee and pop the question.

Pan smiled when the kiss broke only to have Tristan come back and lean into her again for another kiss. Though it broke off sooner than they intended when a voice from behind Tristan spoke up. “Gross! Will you two stop it!?” Pandora manage to see past Tristan to see his little five year old brother dressed up rather nicely too though unlike Tristan he didn't seem too happy about it. Before he pulled away from her he gave her a kiss upon her cheek before he folded his hand into hers like couples did when they went for strolls down the beach. Just looking at him she kw that now he was her world and she didn't know what she would do without him. She had also been the one to persuade Tristan to join the order as the group needed some younger blood, somebody who could keep the order going in the next generation.
“Hey Elijah, do you want to set the table while I dish up dinner?” Elijah didn't seem to happy at his brother request but with a little sigh he trudge off to set the table. He seemed a sweet little boy and guessed that he would be staying her with them for the evening as nobody else seemed to be about the house. “Sorry about Elijah, Pan. My parents are out of the country for a week and so I have to look after him. Think you can put up with him till after dinner? You look beautiful by the way.” A smile came to her face and a slight blush to her cheeks when she said she looked beautiful. No matter how many times he said it Pan would blush a little every time. "Oh it's fine. I honestly don't mind. It's sweet that your willing to look after you little brother." Pan told him as it was one of the reason why she had fallen in love with him because he was sweet and caring of his family.

He couldn't help but gently stroke the side of her face as she blushed, there was just something about her that made him feel like he was addicted to her. Of all the women that he dated, she was the only one that he was addicted to, but he wasn't about to complain about how addictive she was to him, not when he was going to propose to her. "Oh it's fine. I honestly don't mind. It's sweet that your willing to look after you little brother." He leaned in and gave her a short sweet peck on the lips, fully aware that Elijah may be watching, before leading her to the now set kitchen table. He pulled out a chair for her, deciding that it would be better to be a gentleman today to 'butter her up' a little bit. He really wanted to be married to her, for her to be his forever and ever. When she was seated he headed to the kitchen and began to dish-up the spaghetti and meatballs that he had made. So it wasn't exactly the most romantic dinner but it was the best choice considering they were dining with his little brother tonight. He placed a plate in front of her and Elijah before grabbing the plate that he had been levitating along behind him and placed it in front of the seat that was set right next to Pan, yet he didn't sit down. He took his wand and pointed it at the rooms upstairs and he caught the little velvet box. He couldn't wait any longer. "Pandora, you are the love of my life, my drug, and my reason for my exsistance. I don't know what I'd do if I didn't have you in my life. I love you more than I've ever loved any other woman in my life." He got down on one knee in front of her and opened the velvet box offered it out to her as his kind and loving eyes were locked on hers. "I guess what I'm trying to say is, Pandora Summers will you marry me?"

After he gave her a quick peck on the lips before her lead her into the room where they would be dinning that night. The room was lovely with the table all nicely set up and the perfect lighting for and evening meal between the too even if it did including Tristan's little brother Elijah it was still pretty fantastic. And tonight Tristan was being very much the gentleman as he pulled her hair out for her at the table before she seated herself in the dinning room. His little brother also hopped up onto a chair obviously looking forward to having some dinner. It was then that Tristan went into the kitchen probably to get the food they would be eating and by the look and Elijah's face it was going to be something they would all probably enjoy.
It was then that the dish was reveal. Spaghetti and Meatballs. This reminded her of the film the Lady and the tramp where the too dogs shared the very dame meal. She also thought it was quite thoughtful that it was Italian food as after all Pandora was half Italian so she quite enjoyed the food. Though once Tristan didn't sit down she began to wonder about what he was doing as he caught something in his hand. "Pandora, you are the love of my life, my drug, and my reason for my exsistance. I don't know what I'd do if I didn't have you in my life. I love you more than I've ever loved any other woman in my life." Then the realization of the situation came to her as Tristan made his next move. And it was something that she had defiantly not at all being expecting to happen to her tonight at least.
He got down on one knee next her and reveal to her a little velvet box in his hands. He opened it up to reveal a beautiful little ring sitting in the box her was holding. Then the inevitable happened. "I guess what I'm trying to say is, Pandora Summers will you marry me?" At this Pan just blushed even more than she had done before and she was sure that Tristan would be able to see all of her emotions in her eyes. She hadn't expected this moment to come quite so soon but she already knew the answer to his question. She had known it for a long time now. "Yes, Tristan, of course I'll marry you. You are the holder of my heart and nobody else it has always been you." Pandora told him as a tear of joy rolled down her right cheek displaying her true happinesss.

Tristan studied her face, which he had already memorised perfectly before this very date, for any clues about what her response would be. He knew that there was a good chance that he could use leginimens to get into her head but refused to do that to her. Not only would he be in for a yelling of a lifetime but it could be enough reason for her to say no to marrying him so he just stayed there, most likely looking silly to his youngest brother while he was waiting for her response, as he analysed the emotions on her face as she blushed.
“Yes, Tristan, of course I’ll marry you. You are the holder of my heart and nobody else it has always been you.” He felt his heart swell at her answer. He slid the ring gently onto the third finger of her left hand, before kissing the back of it. When he noticed the tear rolling down her face he gently wiped it away, failing to notice the sound of a door closing on the floor above. “As is my heart and it shall always be yours. I love you, Pan, and I’d shout it from the top of Mount Everest regardless of whom or what was around.” He smiled broadly at her. Sure she didn’t react the way woman on muggle television were depicted to do. But then again Pan was always unpredictable, and he loved her for it.
He stood up and pulled his chair and dinner over to him so that he and Pan could celebrate like a truly betrothed couple. “So I guess the next step would be to inform our parents. When would you like to do that?”[/blue] In true Tristan style he had wanted this to be a surprise for everyone involved, and so he hadn’t asked her parents what they thought of him proposing to her, or even talked to his own parents to warn them that they may have a future daughter in-law when they returned from their trip.

Pan watched as Tristan slipped the ring onto her middle finger on her left hand. The ring that now sat there was beautiful and she just couldn't believe that she was going to get married. Tristan kissed the back of her hand where he had just placed the ring that would tell the world that she was to wed him. This made Pandora blush even more than she already had as she could feel her checks burning up. Though this time it wasn't for embarrassment but for happiness instead as today was most likely going to be one of the most happiest days of her life. Definitely a strong memory for her to think of if she need to cast a patronus. She felt a hand on her cheek as Tristan gently wiped away the tear that had been role down her cheek. She was so happy at this moment in time that she wouldn't be surprised if more didn't follow it as she always cried at happy romantic ends of movies so she was bond to have tears in her eyes when he own was happening.
“As is my heart and it shall always be yours. I love you, Pan, and I’d shout it from the top of Mount Everest regardless of whom or what was around.” Just listening to his voice made her heart pound. The words he told her was so sweet and romantic she wanted to remember them forever. This was one of those moments that she never wanted to end and probably wouldn't believe it had happened if she didn't have the proof sitting right there on her middle finger. And I would be right by your side proclaiming my own love for you." she told him lifting her eyes up from the ring on her finger into those of her husband to be. Her chocolate eyes locked with his blue ones and Pandora just knew that she had made the right decision in say yes to him. Ever since that first kiss at the Halloween ball she had been head over heels for him, and now she had gotten to fall in love with him all over again.
It was then he sat at the table and they was ready to enjoy the food he had made for them to celebrate this wonderful night. He asked her when she would like to inform there parents. Pan thought that since his parents where away it was best to wait until they come back. Also Pandora would like to tell her parents in person rather than on the phone so would have to get them to come back over to England for a little while since they would still be in there Italian villa. "Well by the time you parents are back and I can get mind to come to England it will be almost time for the next trip to Hogsmeade at Hogwarts so if we wait till then we can tell everyone at the same time so your siblings don't have to find out by owl as I know my brother wouldn't like that." Pan told him as Pan had already promised her brother Preston that she would inform him personal of such happenings.

He loved that glow. The glow that her blush caused. He knew she was the emotional type when romance was involoved, so he had been expecting a slow steady stream of tears to be flowing down her face the moment the ring brushed her finger. So it was a small surprise when ere was only the one.
"And I would be right by your side proclaiming my own love for you." Their eyes met and then it came to him. She said yes. He was no longer going to be a soldier on the front, spending the night with a soldier of the opposite sex while the soldiers slept warmly in the barracks; awaiting the command to attack. He was now going to be a husband enjoying the time he has with his wife before they died at the hands of the misogynistic dictator; side by side; hand in hand. They were both soldiers for the Order of the Phoenix fighting against the oppressive rule of Voldemort. "You're my life, Pan." With that he gave his fiancee a passionate kiss on the lips.
"Well by the time you parents are back and I can get mind to come to England it will be almost time for the next trip to Hogsmeade at Hogwarts so if we wait till then we can tell everyone at the same time so your siblings don't have to find out by owl as I know my brother wouldn't like that." He nodded. "Sounds good to me," his mind flickered back to the Halloween Ball. "I should have asked you out much sooner than I had, I was such an idiot in that respect." This however was no idiotic move. This was the best move a chess player could make, not that he was playing her or something. He genuinely loved her.
