It was a warm summer day, as Lily wandered the courtyards. Lily heard birds singing, a slight breeze caused Lily’s hair to flutter around. Lily was very happy. Today was a perfect day for her to explore the grounds. Lily sat under a pleasant looking tree under its shade; she took in the sights, smelling the fresh air, cooling down thanks to the breezes. It was truly a perfect day, but Lily felt as if something was missing. Lily couldn’t quite figure it out, so she decided to do something to get her finger on the missing factor. She decided to climb the tree she was sitting under.
Lily looked up; the tree seemed pretty simple to climb. There were branches that looked strong enough sit on. Lily thought about this decision, there were consequences that may happen which she could regret later. Lily’s adventurous part kicked in, after a while of debating herself Lily decided to go for it. She knew that the worst that could happen would be a broken body part, or a detention, nothing too serious.
Lily walked around the tree figuring out the easiest way to climb it. When she found a good spot Lily grasped the hold and pushed herself up, looking for a place where her foot could go. After the first few steps, Lily found it easy to climb up. Lily stopped around halfway the three. The view was marvelous, the lake and castle entrance were visible, and the lake was gleaming under the sun’s ray. Lily truly felt happy here, with the collar of her shirt she wiped the sweat that had formed from her forehead. Watching the scene relaxed Lily, her mind cleared and she was able to figure out what was missing. The thing missing in Lily’s opinion was someone to share this with, someone she could laugh with and joke around. ‘I should have brought someone with me,’ Lily thought.

Damn those stupid housemates of his! They had his book again, and while he could have just summoned it back Justin liked the exercise it gave him. Plus he got to see and speak to other friends from other Houses. Today Justin wore a black t-shirt with a picture of wolves and a Native American on it and dark blue jeans. Realistically speaking black was not a good colour to wear colour but Justin didn’t seem to mind. He had a white t-shirt in his Moleskin pouch if he got too hot anyway. Thankfully the Ravenclaw boy knew where they had hidden it. They were so unoriginal.
Making his way to the Black Lake Justin stopped for a minute to look at the view, making sure to keep away from the water. His mind then reminded him why he was there. He knelt down and looked under a tree, which had a hole at the bottom. Sure enough, the book was in there. The Ravenclaw Beater took it out and put it in his Moleskin pouch, happy to have the book back. As he looked up to the sky he noticed a girl sitting in a tree. He stepped back, his trainer touching the water, causing TinTin to hurriedly go forward.
“Sorry if I disturbed you. I had no intention of doing so,” said Justin to the girl. Idiot, why did you say it that way? It sounded so weird! Ah well, there was nothing to be done about it now but hopefully that that sentence would be brushed aside by the girl. He quickly examined her, memorising her face. He was pretty sure she wasn’t in his House so maybe she was a Hufflepuff? He’d ask her if she didn’t mind talking to him. Justin was a known bookworm, second to Hermione Granger from Gryffindor. He’d like to get to know her more. she seemed nice enough.

It was the begin of the school year meaning that the once excitable little first year named Ellyon Merryweather was now a thriving fifth year of the noble Gryffindor house. Thous meaning that at the end of the school year she would have to sit though a mass of Ordinary Wizarding Level exams. Or as they where more commonly known O.W.L's. Now the exam's themselves didn't phase her but the fact that she would have to sit down for extended periods of time. Which was something she was not good at being a suffer of the mental disorder ADHD. This was also the reason she was struggling to keep a steady grade in History of Magic as there was absolutely nothing practical about the subject which made it quite hard for her. Where as classed like Care of Magical Creatures which was more hands on lesson she excelled at as she was able to use her hands and get stuck into the lesson.
Though currently Ellyon was sat crossed legged in the Gryffindor common room as she waited for some of her gryffindor friends to come along. But none of them had shown yet making her rather restless. "I got do something I can't sit still forever." Ellyon muttered to herself pulling herself out o the comfy arm chair and heading out of the common room. As she descended the castle stairs she decided to go for a jog around the lake to give her something to do. It wasn't long till she founder herself padding along the lakeside path and up ahead she could see a figure under a tree. Getting closer she realized she knew who it was so jogged over. "Hey Justin." Then she noticed that there was also somebody else up in the tree Ellyon recognized her from some class as they was in the same year she just could remember her name."Oh hey didn't see you there." She said smiling up at the girl.

Lily sat looking at nothing, thoughts from her previous years at Hogwarts rushed through Lily’s mind. What Lily wanted most right now was to talk to someone. Lily spotted a boy walking down to the lake; he looked as if he were looking for something. Her thought were confirmed when he looked into the water and picked up, probably his things. Lily wondered why his things were in the water in the first place.
Lily looked at the boy who just spoke to her, he seemed pretty nice but looks can be deceiving. She did not recognize which gave her the impression that he wasn't from her house. Maybe he was a Ravenclaw, Slytherin, or maybe a Gryffindor? Lily realized the only way to find out was to ask him, but first she wanted to start a friendly conversation with him.
"Don't worry you’re not disturbing me at all. I was actually hoping someone would come by. It’s pretty boring up here by my-self." Lily replied. She was telling the truth to the boy, he seemed nice which meant he probably wasn't a Slytherin. Lily doubted a Slytherin would ever talk to a Hufflepuff like herself.
A few seconds after she said these words a girl joined the boy under the tree. Lily had seen her in classes since she stood out from the rest. ’I hope they’ll join me up here’ Lily thought to herself.
"Your both welcomed to come up.” Lily told the two of them. She really loved the view up here, and would hate getting down, but she also knew she would have to get down at some point whether she liked it or not.

Justin smiled and chuckled at the girl’s comment.
“Well then, you’re lucky that I came when I did. Would you like me to come up there and sit with you?” said Justin. “I'm Justin by the way. Justin Grant, 5th Year Ravenclaw, and you?”
He hoped the girl wouldn’t mind divulging her name. He had done the same after all. Then again, there could be Death Eaters in the school. No, not could be, there were Death Eaters at the school. The Ravenclaw boy was sure of it. He then heard a voice and gave a smile to its owner: Ellyon Hale. She then saw the girl and said how she hadn’t seen her there. Justin smiled at Elle and then produced his wand from his pocket, pointing it at himself.
“Wingardium Leviosa!” With that, he floated to a branch near the girl and sat with his back against the trunk.

With it still being early in September the weather outside was rather plesant which Ellyon was glad for as it meant that she could get outside and run around more than in the cold harsh winters that they got up in Scotland. It also meant that she did have to dig out her heavy warmer robes which would probably be at the bottom of her trunk back in the Gryffindor tower knowing her luck. So she was just going to have to enjoy the sun while it lasted as with autumn fast approaching it wouldn't be long till the tree's shed their leaves and mades for a lot of slippy pathways around the castle which made for a fun slip and slide, provided that you didn't fall straight onto you bum. And that wasn't the most fun thing to do in the wolrd as Ellyon new from experinece that it could hurt very much so and she would have to be more carfull if she decided to do it again when autumn came around.
Then the girl in the tree spoke to her and Justin saying that it was OK for them to come up into the tree to if the wanted. If the girl had known Ellyon better than she did she would have known that was a silly question to ask her as of course Ellyon would love to go up in the tree as Ellyon was quite a sociable girl. She watched as Justin took out his wand and used the levitation charm which they had been taught by Flitwick in their first year at Hogwarts. "What a way to cheat Justin, I'll show you how to climb a tree properly." Ellyon said once her friend was seated in the tree and took a few steps back before running and jumping so she was hanging onto a branch before pulling herself up with ease as growing up on a circus did teach you how to be flexible and most certainly enabled you to know who to clinb into a tree without using any magic at all.
