Karlee was not scared of anything, really. Well, aside from snakes and spiders. You know, the little itty bitty spiders, like the one that crawled up the water spout? Yeah, those ones freak her out. They bring out her inner little child again. Imagine, going through something so traumatic as your parents burning to death and your brother, and your the only living member of your family left, yet a little spider can make you shriek like a dying leperchaun. Not that she knew what a dying leperchaun sounded like, but she imagined she sounded like one when she shrieked.
She loved to explore. It was something she looked forward to every returning year at Hogwarts. The one spot she had wanted to visit for the longest time, that she hadn't been able to... She worried about getting expelled, this WAS off limits after all. But just like in the muggle world, its only illegal when you get caught, right? She was not planning on being caught. She could be a real sneak. She dared herself to stay an hour in the forrest, and make it back, without being caught. She knew one of the headmasters would probably somehow magically detect her out here, but most of them liked her, so no real punishment would probably take place, right? Plus, she could shift into her anamagus, a white wolf, if she needed to. IT came in handy sometimes.
Karlee snuck past the fence, and made it into the forbidden forrest. An overwhelming sense of danger crept into her veins. It excited her and made her want to turn back- and she loved that feeling. The addrenaline, that fear that meant you where doing something you shouldn't. The feeling you could be caught at any moment. She lived for that feeling. She pulled out her wand, which was eight inches long and made of Yew and a core of dragon heartstring and fairy wings. A unique mixture, she knew there was not anouther of that mixture. She could be quite a trickster at times. She liked to play pranks on others. She got along quite well with the older Weasley boys, Fred and George. They had taught her quite a bit of the pranks she knew.
Her heartrate sped up as she knew at any minute she could be expelled from the only place that mattered to her. It was pitch black in the woods, so she pulled out her wand. "Lumos." She whispered, and a light appeared at the end of her wand. She could see tangled tree roots, and branches, and yeah, tree's. That was about it. She looked back to make sure nobody had followed her, and started walking deeper in the woods. She was on high alert. She stepped carefully. She stepped on a stick and jumped. Damn it I need to be careful.. She kept walking, looking behind her every few steps.
