With a tug of the laces he retied his shoes that had undone themselves on his way down to the Quidditch pitch. He missed his parent's, now more than ever. At least once a night he heard one of his year mates talk about how much they missed their parents or how they couldn't wait to see their parents again at Christmas. With a thump his body hit the neatly trimmed lush grass. [/b] Another roar of thunder came and answered his mother's question. "Come here, little one." She lifted him up then and pulled him into her arms. His eyes instantly started to flutter close. "Don't..... leave .... me...."[/justify][/ul] His hand tightened around his father's wedding ring. This was the last he had of his parents. That was all that he had left. "Mom...... Dad...."

Sam left the Hufflepuff common room rather early, she ran through the halls because her stomach was complaining with every step she took. When Sam approached the great hall she slowed down so she wouldn't run into anyone as she entered but she found the hall empty. Food was on the tables and ready to be ate but not a single soul was in site. Sam ate her breakfast rather slow hoping that someone would come around eventually but no one did. After a half an hour of eating and waiting Sam decided to head out the the quidditch pitch she could get some flying in before the teams came out to practice.
Sam was so excited to be going outside to the quidditch pitch that she sprinted all the way down not paying attention to anything but what was in front of her. As she ran she almost tripped a few times and almost ran into random animals of the different students around the school. Sam reached the quidditch pitch and yelled "Accio Firebolt!" as loud as she could. Sam looked around again to see if anyone was around but all she could see was her Firebolt flying toward her.
Sam grabbed the broom in her hands tightly then flung her leg over the other side and took off. She fly around letting herself be free and her mind wonder to where ever it wanted to. She wondered what was behind the trees in the deep dark parts of the forest, what all was lurking at the bottom of the black lake, and... that's when Sam noticed something. She flew down towards the grass as fast as she could, as she was flying down she noticed it was a boy laying on the ground. Sam jumped off her broom and let it fly out of her hand and land somewhere close by.
Sam sat down next to the boy and looked at him nothing seemed to be wrong so she patted him on the shoulder and said, "Hey kid, is something wrong?" Sam had a really worried look on her face she wasn't sure what to do.

Circe knew where Delwyn was. She had followed him down to the Common Room, and all the way to the Quidditch pitch. She knew he was missing their parents – she was, too. She felt a pang when she saw a mother and her daughter together. She watched her younger brother from behind a wooden pole. She then noticed a Hufflepuff girl – she knew the girl was Hufflepuff since she saw the girl with a Hufflepuff tie during school hours. Circe would have gone to her brother, but the truth was, she was afraid. Afraid to show him her weak side. When their mother and father had been killed, it had been she who had picked up the slack, and done the majority of the household chores. She had vowed to never show Delwyn her vulnerable side.
When the girl went up to Del, CC felt a sudden surge of anger. That girl wasn’t meant to comfort Del, she was. She stormed up to them, and rapidly knelt by Del. “Delwyn, are you ok?” asked Circe. “I-I sort of followed you.” This might have sounded over-protective of CC but she couldn’t lose Delwyn. Sure, she had other family but she wasn’t as close with them as she was with Delwyn. And after the death of her parents that closeness had become stronger.
[so sorry for the crappy post]

Orion Dumbledore. Son of Aberforth and father of two. Delwyn- like many other sons all around the world muggle or not- thought that he was the best Dad in the world. He would always feed his self-confidence. He would always be there during or after his mother healed one of his wounds. He'd sit with him and listen to the Quidditch games and make things even more interesting by always backing the team Delwyn thought would lose the match and groaning whenever Del's team scored a point past his keeper and even by teasing Del asking if he wanted a tissue box for when his team lost the match.
Clytemnestra Dumbledore. She delt with his injuries whether it was just a graze or a sprain, she was always there when he injured himself. She was also there for him to cuddle with when he was scared. She was also the one who started teaching him to read and write. She taught him the things he needed to know in order to survive his education at Hogwarts. He couldn't see how he would have survived if he had lost them both any younger than he did.
He felt someone tap him on the shoulder and slowly he opened his eyes, unable to remember telling them to shut. "Hey kid, is something wrong?" He was about to reply when out of the corner of his peircing blue eyes he saw someone kneel at his side. “Delwyn, are you ok?” He knew that voice, unlike the other feminine one. The person kneeling beside him had to be Circe. Unless.... no it had to be her! "How did you find me CC?" He raised himself up to a sitting position and as he did so she spoke. “I-I sort of followed you.” He nodded. He didn't blame her for following him. Not after what they went through together. "I'm fine. I just miss Mom and Dad."

Worry spread through Sam she didn’t know what to say or do. The kid actually looked like her was going to cry. Samantha was a caring person so when she saw someone who seemed as hurt as the kid did she was absolutely one hundred percent worried about them. He was no exception, even though Sam didn’t know anything about him or even his name she still felt horrible and wanted to help out in any way possible. Sam had helped people out before she used to do it all the time when she was younger.
Sam didn’t notice the other girl come up to them at all, but once see saw the girls face she instantly knew it was Circe Dumbledore, which meant by the conversation that they were having, that the little one was Dewlyn Dumbledore. Sam sensed that Circe wanted her to leave but she ignored it she wanted to make sure Dewlyn was okay, and see if she could do anything to help him out. So Sam sat there and when Dewlyn said he missed his mom and dad, Sam instantly knew what was going on she remembered reading in the Daily Prophet about what happened. She didn’t know what it felt like but at least she knew the story behind it so that held out a lot.
Sam looked down at Dewlyn and said, “I’m sorry Dewlyn, I heard about what happened. I know if that happened to me I would be and feel just as you do. Is there anything I can do to help either of you out?” She looked at Circe when she said either of you, and she truly meant it. Even though she barely knew either of them she would do anything in her power to help them out. But that’s just the way she is, Sam looked down a Delwyn then to Circe.
[sorry its kind of bad!]

Circe listened and smiled when she heard Delwyn’s comment on how he missed their parents. She would be lying if she said she didn’t, too. Whenever she saw a mother and daughter together she felt a pang in her heart. Ginny still had her mother, Molly. Circe didn’t think her friend knew how lucky she was. If only she knew how wondrous it was to have her mother, actually cherish Molly Weasley. True, some mothers were downright mean but some were extraordinarily wonderful, like Mrs Weasley. Circe looked ahead, remembering the times when her mother was alive.
“I know, you do, Del. I miss them, too,” said the Fifth Year Gryffindor. She stroked his hair gently, like how their mother did. She looked to Samantha when she said she was there for them. Circe smiled at the Hufflepuff in gratitude. You could count on a Hufflepuff to be there when something bad happened, the majority of the time. There were some nasty Hufflepuffs in the school. “Thank you, Samantha.”
