A midnight stroll [Michael]

It was nearly eleven thirty when Taylor started to venture outside. As she walked up from the common rooms he noticed that there were not that many people out. She would pass the occasional group of kids heading back to the common room. Most kids were in their common rooms, if not already in bed they were probably settling down for the night. A few brave students were out wandering the castle, some to go steal a little snack, others were most likely on mission like Taylor. She had given a note to Michael during potions class that said, "Meet me by the lake at midnight so we can talk, since we never get to see each other." Taylor had no clue what she wanted to talk about she just hadn't seen him in awhile and really want to. Plus when ever they did see each other they were in large groups she wanted some one on one time with Michael.

Taylor was walking up the dungeon stairs wearing a strapless dark blue tie dye sun dress with a pair of flip flops. She had her wand in her right hand just in case someone wanted to start a fight. Even though most of them would never dare throw a spell a girl. She wasn’t really wanted to see any other Slytherins, out but she knew she would end up seeing one or two. Taylor was hoping that Michael wouldn't chicken out. Taylor really wanted to talk with Michael they used to be best friends and talk all the time but lately they barely said two words to each other.

As Taylor walked out the front doors to the lake, she noticed the moon shining off the surface of the black lake. It gave the lake a light glowing look. The lake carried small waves which created a nice cool breeze. The ground underneath her feet was soft and a tad bit wet from all the rain the day before. She walked toward the end of the dock to look out at the water, as she approached the dock he noticed that it seemed rather dry. So Taylor sat down and hung her feet off the edger. Taylor figured that it, was around eleven forty-five or so. That meant he would have a little time to sit and think before Michael came. So Taylor looked up at the moon and waited for Michael to arrive.

Out of all classes she decided to do it in Snape's class. Good lord was she crazy! That was something that Michael deeply respected in people, they liked to take risks. Finally he looked at the time on his watch and spotted eleven forty-five and decided to get dressed. Walking down the corridor he spotted a few people looking his direction as he walked down, hopefully Umbridge wouldn't spot him or else it would be the death of him, and Taylor. And that was something he didn't want to risk.

Another thing he didn't want to risk was pissing her off. He knew the mentality of a woman and therefore knew how to treat one properly, a characteristic he thought, that every Enterprise member should have. Finally, he heard footsteps behind him and sneakily sped off to the nearest statue. Finally peering over the corner he saw Mrs. Norris patrolling the hallway, hissing under his breath he slithered towards the entrance and out the door into the warm night.

He felt cold, alone at least for only a few minutes. She was expecting him at midnight and he looked up to the moon as it approached it's climax in the night and just smiled. Finally moving towards the lake he looked out in the distance, and there she was. It was as if she was the only clear thing out there in visible sight. Her blonde hair radiant, her skin pale in the moonlit sky, and her posture just absolutely stunning. He gave his best attempt at smiling and waited for a bit.

Finally the moon reached the highpoint of the night and he moved towards her silently and after a few seconds he was almost right behind her. "Hey..." was all he could muster to say as he sat next to her.

The moon was shinning off the lake and made a lovely reflection, Taylor was tempted to jump in the lake because she was rather bored but then she noticed that someone sat next to her and said hey. She assumed it was Michael but she didn't turn over to look at him, she didn't know what to say because she didn't want him to get the wrong impression as she thought about things she realized he liked to play things more on the safe side and that wasn't her. She was a dangerous person, she took the risks and thought about what she did at a later date. She is the person who would get on a broom right now and fly to hogsmeade have a few drinks get caught and would laugh about what she did because she really didn't care. She was also a very athletic and outgoing person and she wasn't so sure that Michael could keep up with her.

After one long deep breath Taylor said, "Hey, Michael. How's it been haven't talked to you in awhile." She felt that she had played things rather cool, she gave no hint in her voice that there was a chance she liked him she also didn't make it so he thought she liked him. She kept her voice rather normal, and she kept her facial expression rather bland and black. Taylor looked back down out the water and sighed slightly she didn't know what to do and she was rather confused but she did know she needed a jacket so she took out her wand. "Accio Jacket." She whispered under her breath so that Michael could not hear her.

Taylor turned her head and looked back at the castle she saw her jacket come flying towards them so she got up and walked towards her jacket. She hoped that Michael didn't see her get up and do this. She grabbed her jacket and put it on and thought all better as she was walking back toward the dock she hit a rock with her foot she bent down and picked it up than ran back to the dock and sat down. She flipped the rock through her hand a couple of times then skipped it nicely across the lakes surface and the rock sunk the image of the sky that was painted on the lake had disappeared.
