- Ronald comes from the old Norse name Rφgnvaldr, which means "having the Gods' power."
- Bilius is one of the four medieval temperaments, indicating anger and peevishness, two personality traits that he is rather prone to. His middle name was given to him in honor of his uncle, who died twenty-four hours after seeing a Grim.

Due to his family's lack of money, Ron was originally sent to school with Charlie's old wand, which was so worn that the unicorn hair was nearly poking out of the end. That wand was damaged at the beginning of his second year, which caused him quite a few problems with his school work that year. For his third year he received a new wand, which he still has today. The new wand is 14 inches, willow, with a unicorn hair core.

distinguishing features Like all of the Weasleys, Ron has many distinguishing features. First, the most noticeable is his bright red hair, this feature always associates him with his family. Other Weasley-like features that Ron possesses include: pale skin, freckles, height, and excessive blushing.
flaws Big hands and feet, tall and lanky, long nose
appearanceBecause Ron's family is so unfortunate in regards of money, Ron has never really gotten a chance to establish his own clothing style. Nearly all of his clothes are hand-me-downs, and the other portion was all made by his mother. Though this disposition has kind of created a style for him. Ron tends to wear clothes that are casual, comfortable, affordable, and occasionally with a vintage tone.[/ul]

boggart Spiders. Spiders have always been Ron's biggest fear though now that the times have changed, gotten a little darker, what with Voldemort running around again, his fear is probably a mixture of Voldemort killing his family with giant spiders.
patronus Jack Russell Terrier, because in essence, this animal represents him. He may seem like a small threat because he has not achieved as many great things as Harry or Hermione, have but his faith and loyalty towards his family and friends is unwavering. His best memory is the first time he learnt to fly a broom in his first year.
mirror of erised When Ron looked in the mirror of Erised in their second year, he saw himself as the ultimate center of attention. He was head boy, quidditch captain, holding the quidditch cup you name it, he got it. Now that he's a bit older, he still dreams of achieving these things, but he also wishes he had a certain girl on his arm as well.
veritaserum He is in love with his best girl-friend,Hermione.

personalityRon is someone that is very easy to get along with, and naturally very likeable. Typically, the only people he has trouble associating with are arrogant people, and people that enjoy putting others down. His sense of humor is classic, and he always seems to be the one supplying the comic relief in his adventures with Harry and Hermione. In his large and affectionate family, he has learned the true meaning of love and friendship, and is always loyal to the people he cares about. The idea of betrayal, trickery, lying, or backstabbing is unforgivable in his eyes, and he sees the people that commit these offenses as unforgivable. Harry immediately knew that Ron was the friend to choose when faced with Ron and Draco because Ron was the picture of innocence. In reality, an evil thought of any kind has never really gone through his mind.
Though he is generally insecure about his appearance, social class, clothes, quidditch skills, grades you name it and he's probably insecure about it he does a fairly good job of hiding it. He uses his humor to cover up his insecurities; he believes that if he can laugh at it then it doesn't really bother him or at least that's what people will believe. In addition to his insecurities, Ron revels in praise. Because he rarely receives it in such a large family, it tends to go to his head when it's applied in large amounts. Since he's used to hardly receiving any, a typical amount seems abundant to him and he feels that he really must be special. Another characteristic that comes hand and hand with insecurity is his trouble with conveying emotions. When he's angry at Malfoy, he has no problem shouting and casting curses, but when he's jealous of Harry, or randomly flustered by Hermione he can't control it anymore than he can understand it. He'll either joke about it and leave it alone, or become very quiet and confused. But typically if he's particularly jealous, he'll become a bit frosty for a while, and mope in his inadequacies.

& I JUST WANNA BE ME.

siblings Bill, Charlie, Percy, Fred, George, and Ginny Weasley
"Bill is the eldest of my siblings, ten whole years older than me. Whenever it was necessary, Bill took over watching us. I don't know how he felt about it. I never thought to ask. It was just the way it had always been. The sky was blue, the grass was green, and if Mum and Dad were busy, Bill would make you that sandwich or tie your shoes for you. I always thought I had it rough, being the youngest boy. I was the target for the teasing. I was the target for the abuse. Ginny was damn near untouchable, shielded by the fact that she was the baby girl. But looking back on it now, maybe it wasn't so easy for Bill either. He had five younger siblings that needed looking after, Dad was usually working, and Mum only had so many hands. Our parent's attention was always tuned in to something that the younger kids were doing, especially with Fred and George around. So maybe, especially in the later years of his time at home, Bill didn't quite get as much attention as he should have. Bill and I were never extremely close. I'm sure if I asked, he'd insist that he didn't have a favorite sibling, but I wouldn't believe it. Ginny always had him wrapped around her finger. It's not surprising. Ginny had all of us wrapped around her finger. But Bill seemed to fall for it the hardest. He couldn't help but give her just about anything she wanted. Now, that's not to say that he wasn't close to the rest of us too. But Ginny was always special, and so even though Bill was this cool older brother with the leather jackets and the long hair who got the amazingly cool job later on and who I damn near idolized, I knew, even when I was little, that Ginny was the favorite. And for that reason, I didn't really try and become his buddy. Ginny already followed him around like a shadow. But even though we aren't close, I know that I can turn to him if I really need something. Oh, and he's going to marry Fleur Delacour, which is sort of awkward. I mean, I asked her to the Yule Ball in my fourth year, and that was pretty embarrassing. She never mentions it, though, thankfully.
If Bill was the cool and responsible one, then Charlie was the silly and iresponsible one. He's eight years older than me, so when Bill turned seventeen, got a place of his own, and eventually a job with Gringott's, Charlie took over the duties of watching us. He was fifteen by then, and of all of my older brothers, he's the one I was closest to. Where Bill was helpless when it came to Ginny, Percy stuck to himself, and Fred and George were an unstoppable duo of destruction, Charlie always made sure to take time out of his day to just hang out with me. Charlie was the fun one, helping me think of ways to get back at Fred and George for whatever they'd done to me, teaching me how to ride a broom, saving me whenever Ginny tried to rope me into playing something that I didn't want to play by getting her involved in something that Ginny and I both would like to do. Like everyone else, he adored Ginny, but he was more immune to her adorable little girl charms than Bill had been. Ginny had monopolized a lot of Bill's attention. Charlie spread his attention a bit more equally. He spent time with all of us. He let me tag along with him when he was home, and he wrote me letters when he was at Hogwarts. He told me about Quidditch and some of his more interesting lessons. He gave me ideas for things I could do to Fred and George without his help. I was nine when Charlie graduated and left for Romania to chase dragons, and I remember asking him if I could go too, just for a little while, because I wanted to see the dragons. I think he said something about Mum already being sad that he was leaving, and that it would just make her more sad if I left too. Every once in a while he'd send me something cool from Romania, along with a letter about what it was like working with the dragons. We still send Owls to each other regularly, and we've sort of talked a little about... about what happened with Harry and the Department of Mysteries. It's nice to have someone to confide in, someone who wasn't there and who isn't as upset about it as I am.
Percy is the uptight one. Mr. Rules. The bookworm. He's four years older than me, and whenever I try to picture him in my childhood, he's always sitting in the background of the scene with a book. Later, he was the one telling everyone who would listen about whatever it was that he was most fascinated with at the time. He was ambitious. He was driven. And honestly, I think he was kind of overlooked as well. But it was in a different sort of way than I always felt I was overlooked. Mum was always so proud of him. He was reading novels at age nine, learning extra languages by age 14, a Prefect, then Head Boy. I'm sure he dreamed of becoming the Minister of Magic someday. He was always quieter than the rest of us, more serious. He was the first to tell us off when we did something wrong, and the first to run to Mum. With Fred and George in the family, that wasn't something that went over well. He was made fun of, but not picked on, if that makes any sense. He was the butt of the joke, but in a different way than I was. He was sandwiched between Bill and Charlie and Fred and George. Bill and Charlie, being only two years apart and often the ones who ended up taking care of the rest of us, were best friends. Fred and George, as twins and our house's resident troublemakers, were best friends as well. And Ginny and I got on well enough, bonding over being the youngest and only having a year between us. Percy didn't really have anyone. I think that maybe, that's what made it so easy for him to turn his back on us at the first shot of being someone. The Minister, whatever he was using Percy for, made him feel important. Feeling important can go a long way for someone. Now, that being said, that doesn't excuse his actions. He turned his back on us, and even though the Ministry is corrupt now, he still hasn't tried to reconcile. As far as I'm concerned, he's dead to me.
It's nearly impossible to think of Fred and George as separate people. I mean, we all know that they are, but they're like two halves of a whole. You can't have one without the other. You never see one without the other. They're like the very definition of partners in crime. The dynamic duo. The terrible two. There are a million names for them. They're only two years older than me, but with how close they are, it may as well have be twenty. It's hard to invade that twin bubble of theirs. They could finish each other's sentences and thoughts, and I swear, one time George got bit by a gnome and Fred started shouting too. They were the troublemakers. They still are. Did you find something unpleasant in your bed? It was Fred and George. Was something of yours being held hostage unless you gave up all of your pocket money? It was Fred and George. Did you hear a strange explosion? It was Fred and George. But the thing is, even though they're basically two halves of a whole, they're not the same. Fred was always louder than George, a little more outspoken, a little more outgoing. He was the ringleader, I like to think. Most of the traumatic events of my childhood can be traced back to Fred. Even though George was there, they were all Fred's doing. He used my pet puffskein as a bludger. He turned my teddy bear into a spider. He gave me an acid pop and ended up burning a hole in my tongue. He tried to get me to do an Unbreakable Vow. Yeah, though Fred and George both caused me a lot of misery, the worst parts were always Fred's work.
Ginny is the last of my siblings, and the one I'm closest to. Yeah, of my brothers it's Charlie, but in general, I'm closest to Ginny. It wasn't always like that, though. When I was really little, as I've been told, I wanted nothing to do with her. I wouldn't play with her. I wouldn't even talk to to her. Mum thinks I was jealous. Dad says that if I was, it was understandable. After all, I was only one when she was born. She's the first girl to be born into the Weasley's for centuries. Of course everyone made a big deal about her! She was untouchable because she was the baby, adored because she was the adorable little girl. But she had a devilish streak in her, and even though Mum wanted a little girl to dress up like a doll, she wasn't like that. But I'm getting ahead of myself. Like I said, I was apparently jealous of Ginny at first. I ignored her. I was mean to her. Or so I've been told. I don't actually remember, because by the time I was about five, she had me wrapped around her finger too. It was only natural, I suppose. There was only a year's difference between us. When Fred and George went to Hogwarts, we were the only ones left at home. We had no choice but to be close. I'll admit, I don't like the idea of her dating. At all. She's just... she's too young. And I'm sure we'll get into a million fights about it, but I hope she realizes that I'm here for her, if she needs me to be."

historyRonald Weasley was born to Arthur and Molly Weasley on the first of March as their sixth brilliantly red headed son. Though Arthur holds a job in the Ministry of Magic, the Weasley's have always been considered lower-class. What with their loving yet large family, comes large costs. In order to afford clothes, food, wands, robes, school supplies, and Hogwarts tuition for all of their children, the Weasleys have learned to budget their money. Ron was brought up always receiving things that used to belong to someone else. His concept of new clothes or new books has never really been associated with anything that's actually new, just new to him. Needless to say, when being raised in the Weasley household, he learned the true value of luxuries and how hard people had to work to actually get them. He learned that you didn't get everything in life handed to you, and to appreciate what little he actually has.
Being the youngest boy in the family was rough in the first year, but along came a girl that the family always wanted. He watched as everyone got so excited for this new baby and he felt a little shy about it. When the girl was born, he couldn't help but be excited, as excited, as you could be when you were only one and a half, because she wanted a little brother or sister. As she grew older, he was glad not to be the youngest, because his brothers would pick on her instead of him. He was wrong. His mother protected the little girl from the brothers and when the brother got close, they would bow to her every need. For Ron, being next in line that wasn't a girl he was attacked and pranked a lot. His brothers picked on him a lot for laughs and got annoyed with him just as much. Ron knew it was unfair and he created his stubborn face then. The Weasley siblings were fond of teasing and playing pranks on each other, and Ron was a particular target for Fred and George. They once transfigured his teddy bear into a giant spider, sparking his arachnophobia, nearly got him to make an Unbreakable Vow on another occasion, which for once made their father truly furious, and they once got him to eat an Acid Pop which burnt a hole through his tongue.
When his twin brothers headed for wizard school, Ron was immediately jealous and alone. He wished they were back, despite them teasing him constantly. He had his little sister though and turned to her this time. He was immensely jealous of her most of the time, but when they were alone he liked her a lot. It was those special moments when she came to him and asked for help or gave him a hug that he melted on the inside. That one-year they grew very close, even though Ron had to play her girlish games too. He felt he had responsibility over her, being her older brother. He liked feeling important to his baby sister, at the very least.
Ron got his letter to attend Hogwarts in the Spring before the coming fall when he would attend his first year at the magical school. He was the sixth in his family to receive the letter, but his parents were proud regardless. Knowing that it would be expensive to send yet another child to the pricey school. Ron was suited up with his hand-me-down wand, hand-me-down robes, hand-me-down books, and even a hand-me-down pet rat on his first train ride to the school. On the train he met his two future best friends, Harry Potter (famous boy wizard for surviving Lord Voldemort's killing curse) and Hermione Granger (child genious/prodigy), and he also met his future enemies, which consisted of Draco Malfoy and his cronies. Ron was sorted into Gryffindor, just like the rest of his siblings. In his first year, he helped Harry battle a troll, and discover that Professor Quirrel was working with a very weak Lord Voldemort. In his second year he helped Harry discover the Chamber of Secrets and Salazar Slytherin's heir who was opening it and releasing the Basilisk on the students. In his third year he found out that his pet rat was actually a human animagus who framed Sirius Black, Harry's God father for several murders. In his fourth year he helped Harry work through the puzzles and tasks of the Triwizard Tournament.
Throughout all of these adventures, Ron has always been cast to the side of Harry's limelight. Typically Harry receives all of the attention, because he is The Boy Who Lived. But Ron has been ignored all of his life and it has always been eating at him. This year, Ron enters Hogwarts knowing about the danger that is now in the magic community, and in the muggle community as well, even though they are unaware of it themselves. Katie was ecstatic. She was going to the Quidditch world cup and couldn’t believe it. She had wanted to go ever since she was a little girl. And now that she actually got a chance she could not have been happier. While Katie walked through the line of people she saw that everyone was walking in groups according to who they were going for. There were people dressed in red and they were waving Bulgaria banners around and chanting their player’s names. The rest of the people though were dressed in green and waving green and silver banners around and chanting their player’s names. Katie looked down at herself she was wearing a green shirt with silver writing that said all the Ireland players names on it and their positions. She was also wearing a big green and black hat, along with that she had green and black face paint on. If anyone walked by her they would definitely know who she was going for.
While she kept walking Katie kept looking for people that she may of known. She finally found a whole group of them up ahead of her, so Katie pushed her way through the crowd and over to them. There was Eliza, Seamus, Ginny and Lavender. ”Hey Guys what’s up” She asked them as she joined their group. She saw that the whole group was half and half pretty much when it came to the team that they were supporting.
While Katie waited to see if anyone replied to her she continued to look around. She was surprised at how many people were going for Bulgaria, just because they had Krum. She didn’t understand that at all. Sure they had ONE good player and he happened to be the team Seeker, but that didn’t mean that they were going to win. Ireland on the other hand had more than one good player and in Katie’s mind would defiantly win the match.
As the line moved up and Katie got closer she got more excited than she thought was possible. She was practically jumping out of her skin. She really couldn’t wait till the match started and she could watch it and cheer on her team. She also couldn’t wait to see the opening ceremonies and see who the Bulgarians brought as team mascots. Over all Katie just couldn’t wait till she got to watch the game from start to finish.
