appearance Payton is always well dress, for her casual means business casual. Every once in a blue moon you’ll see her in jeans and a tee shirt, but it’s so rare it’s practically and endangered species! She is however, always in high heels! She hates her ‘petite’ stature and does whatever she can to make herself appear taller. The only time her heels will be less than 4 inches tall is when she is at home in her bare feet, there is even a nasty rumor going around that she has lifts in her slippers, it’s untrue, but proves her point. She is also always wearing a thin gold cross. [/ul]
I DON'T WANNA THINK LIKE YOU.
& I DON'T WANNA STINK LIKE YOU.
Payton enjoys reading a good book with some chocolate or some tea. She enjoys watching the fire and rainy days. She loves flying around whenever she can and going out with friends. She also secretly enjoys dressing up even though she’ll complain about it.
dislikes Payton hates being short more than anything in the world. She also has an extreme dislike for snow and the cold weather that winter heralds. She has a distaste for disorder and tries to keep everything in place. Above even her height however, she dispises beyond measure seeing her friends in pain.
boggart Being bound or tied up
patronus Payton’s corporeal patrouns takes the shape of an Abraxan
mirror of erisedWhen Payton gazes in the mirror of Erised she sees herself with a family, a husband and one little girl and one little boy. That is her greatest wish and it could never happen.

history
Elaine Boyle and Christopher O’Rayn met after a horrible accident during an excavation where Christopher was hurt and rushed to St Mungo’s hospital. She was his attending physician and it was all downhill from there. By the age of 21 they had their first daughter a girl with gorgeous blond locks and her mother’s dark chocolate eyes. Next was a tiny little red head with her father’s eyes named Payton Cecelia O’Ryan. Payton was born small and stayed that way. As she grew up, gaining two more siblings along the way who were both also redheads, she leaned towards boyish things like climbing trees and riding bikes while her perfect older sister and her sweeter younger sister found themselves being the girly ones. Payton always hated being weird or standing out, and her bright red head did not help this fact. When she was young, before she learned how to charm it straight, her hair was a mop of red curls rivaling that of the muggle musical character Annie.
Payton was very good in all of her classes in Hogwarts especially divination, which she only took for one year. She hated how much her teacher would expect from her. She usually liked teachers pushing her in class, making her be the best, but Divination was such a joke class for most students and she hated her family for having the special skills that came so naturally from her maternal line. Payton had two things she had looked into as a career when she was older, something in magical law enforcement, with a specialty in medicine, or being a professor. She had started out her post Hogwarts education in magical pathology but just after graduation felt like there was a better place for her. She took her education and ‘put it to waste’ as her family said going into Transfiguration and teaching. She was good at most of her classes as a kid but really she had been best at Transfiguration.
Payton has been teaching for a few years and watching the evolution of the war as it built around her. She knew which side she would be on, it wasn’t a hard choice since she was a protector, but something in her made her keep her nose as clean as possible and try to keep her guard and protection out of the spotlight. She would do little things when she found the means and the time. She had been debating looking into becoming a bigger part for a while. Payton’s little sister, Rachel, had pushed her into doing something more as the fortune teller was already deep in secret support groups around the country looking for any kind of activity they could find to rebell against. Kelly, the her older sibling, and her Husband had even started to look for ways to help.

Payton Evans, Paypay to her young brother and Payts to her older sister not that she’d ever tell, woke to the singing of her alarm clock. Made a wrong turn, once or twice. Dug my way out, blood and fire. She rolled onto her back letting her titian hair splay out on her bed. She was up before the freaking sun, which she had to be today. She smiled at the song knowing it was exactly not what a young lady was supposed to listen to. Her eclectic music collation and her beautiful books were the closest to rebellion she ever got. She heart and scuffling above her and decided it was time to get up. She lifted her bare legs over the side of the bed turning on the light and turning off the iPod radio. She hadn’t forgotten the day; she would never forget a day like this. It was the end of her world in every way.
Part of her would never stop hating Mel for escaping her fate, but honestly her husband was nice and Payton had always liked him so she couldn’t complain. Besides, Mel had yet to stop apologizing for forcing this part on her younger sister. She honestly felt bad for the guy she was meeting today. He could have had Mel, a tall statuesque red head who was effeminate and perfect, instead he was stuck with a short slightly tomboy academic with strong opinions and even stronger manners. She looked at the closet to see a navy blue dress and matching heels with a headband hanging from her closet, obviously a gift from her mother in the hopes she would wear it. That was not happening.
She walked into her closer pulling out the peridot green top and black pants she had selected after work last night and headed to the en suite bathroom turning on the shower and shucking the tank top and underwear she had on before stepping in. She let her mind wander to all the things she would rather be doing today. She loved her shifts at the bookstore. Since getting the job at 16 because of her English teacher, Payton had yet to be late to a shift none the less take a day off. That was a lie, she had talked a day off once, but she’d had no choice it was her sister’s wedding. Now she was the manager of sales and her parents were all but pleading with her to quit and come start her internship at the company. She insisted that she would start the internship when she was ready. They conceded knowing they would not win.
After about ten minutes, most of which was spent relishing in the feel of the warm water more than it was washing, she got out and started to brush her short hair. She pulled on the clothes and the jewelry she had set out before looking herself in the full length mirror she had. She looked pretty to her own eyes, though she had little like of her own appearance, the 5 in heels did help though taking her from a lowly 5’2 to a nice 5’7. She gently ran her hands over the graceful golden cross that never left her neck. It was a Christmas present from her mother, Melody and she had gotten matching ones when she was 12 and he had never taken it off. She looked to her window as the sun was coming up. She smiled and grabbed her purse and a hugely thick book, Wizard’s First Rule from the Sword of Truth Series, then she ran down stairs.
Payton looked up at her mother and kissed her cheek with a smile as she grabbed a to go cup of the coffee her mother made. They had servants, though they usually showed up later in the day, and no chefs. Her mother loved cooking and having grown up middle class never found use of chefs. “Where are you going, your meeting isn’t for a while.”
“I know I’m going to drop by the bookstore for a while just to make sure everything’s in order. Tell Daddy and Charles good morning and that I love them.” She said Walking out with and orange. Her mother agreed begrudgingly and she was off. A Few hours later she showed up at the restaurant they were meeting at and was taken to the reserved table. She opened up her book and started to read the romantic adventure on the page wishing she could be Kahlan, but knowing her place was here at the alter with a man she didn’t know.
